When your pet is sick it can be hard to determining what pet medicine and treatment you should give to your dog or cat.
I have collected a few common problems and medication that are usually prescibed by your vet. These are just recommendations so please check with your vet before giving any medication to your pet.

Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used to treat allergies, insect stings, motion sickness, travel anxiety and other conditions. It is available as 25mg capsules (OTC) . The usual dose in dogs and cats is 0.5-2mg/pound by mouth every 8 to 12 hours. This medication should not be used in pregnant or nursing animals.
